Taking a step back to undergo a medical procedure, potentially missing our game with them, nevertheless hope he makes a speedy recovery

He is having a mole removed from his forearm. The only reason I can see for that making him miss matches is if it is cancerous and they are maybe taking out the lymph nodes in his armpit and/or expecting to give him radiotherapy or chemo afterwards.
