Not that interesting.

Was working on building sites with an old fella (Ron) in the mid 90's. We were travelling from a job in Dartford to one in Docklands and he got a call from his old mate 'Kenny' and we detoured via Bexley Heath to meet at Ron's house as Kenny wanted to pick up his 'golf clubs' that he had left his in his garage a few years before.

We met up, all had a cup of tea and a chat about this and that, but he really really just wanted the 'golf clubs' and get off. All felt a bit awkward and he was a gobshite to be honest .

A very heavy looking long bag went into the boot of a Range Rover and he went.

Asked Ron what sort of golf clubs they were and he said he didn't know as he'd never looked. He was just asked to keep hold of them for a bit for Kenny and he'd collect them sometime.

All very innocent and Ron even paid for the all the drinks that night - with £50 notes.
