Rich (Kempton) thought a lot of you all and this forum. He was especially appreciative of your support when he was going through a tough time a few months back.
It comforts me (but does not surprise me) to know that he was well loved and respected by everyone. Rich was not only a close family friend, but a great friend to me. He was a kind, extremely funny man who had the right values. I was also lucky enough to work with him for a while and will treasure every funny moment we shared.
As I’m sure you can guess if you didn’t know, Rich was very quick-witted. But he would also deliver his responses with a deadpan expression. And maintain this for a good while.
One of my favourite stories of his (but I weren’t there at the time) was when he was approached by his boss (Paul) who would often ask him to do different tasks on top of his usual role…
“Rich, do you want a **** job?”
“No thanks Paul, I’ve already got one.”
Thank you all for helping him and offering your support. He really was the kindest soul.
Rest in peace mate x
