Anyone else a bit tired of the countless articles Saints are pumping out about "INSERT NAME says blah blah about Kelvin's testimonial". Are they going to go through everyone that played and give them an article about the fact they had a good day?
Just seems like publishing articles for the sake of it, rather than offering something interesting! Maybe they are just building up to a big announcement
Have no problem with publishing fillers...better than having nothing posted. No one has to read it. And it was nice of these players to turn out for Kelv.
Not at all, the respect being shown about Kelvin and the Club is a joy to read, it is genuine and heartfelt, I welcome it. Plenty of negativity about if you prefer it.
Another 2 today. I don't think an article with about 2 quotes about how important kelvin has been to Chris Perry makes much difference. I think the respect shown on Tuesday night by all the fans that bothered to show up is all you need to know!
Well that is virtually all who turned up and played, all saying the same thing so they might be right this time?
Don't enjoy moaning. Just thought it was odd that they published 10+ articles all saying the exact same thing...
I want to thank you. You've just given me the perfect reason to post this video: Game, set and match to Super Kelv.
Have you just posted a video of him keeping out the mighty Leeds strikers in the Championship I'm not even gunna bother watching it To be fair, I'm gunna apologise. I should have kept them sort of comments to amongst my own supporters. I'm not naïve enough to know some players fit clubs perfectly, even though they are garbage somewhere else (He really was for us) Good luck for next season lads
To be fair, he wasn't great when he started at Saints. There were a couple of seasons where the biggest talking point among fans before a season started was why Kelvin seemed to be the manager's favoured keeper, any why was Bialkowski not getting his chance. It was only over time that his popularity (and success?) grew
Kelvin's one man match. But I can never forget the goal that gave us the 1-0 to protect. The cross by Jack Cork, the lovely cushioned header from Tadanari Lee over to Rickie Lambert, who caught the ball so sweetly that, if there was ever a shot that was going to break the net, or carry the keeper in with it, that was the one. Goal of the season strike and completely overlooked because it was in the Championship..
**** off back to whatever stone you came from and leave us to pay tribute to a player we were loyal to as much as he was loyal to us. Forums are about a bit of cross banter, but you need to learn when to contribute and when not to. You've just underlined what I think about Sunderland fans.
