Nigel Adkins will have time on his hands to be there but whether he will be in the mood is something else.
Lee Holmes & Aaron Martin have been confirmed. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/arti...-martin-kelvin-davis-testimonial-3108846.aspx
About him being in the dressing room and hearing someone ranting? If that, I believe he is saying he couldn't sit there and listen to a lower (than his last few) level coach spouting off, if he didn't really believe what was being said. He'd rather not play.
Simon Peach has posted a transcript from a chat he had with Kelvin at the awards night. Expands a bit more on the above...
Great interview from Mr. Peach Think it's brilliant that the club are finding roles for retired players and seeing strengths in people beyond that of on the pitch. It's clear how well respected Kelvin is by Jose and the lads and what a big personality he is in the dressing room. As he said himself, plenty of players get given ambassador roles, which usually means turning up on match days and entertaining the corporate guests. If they can find him a day to day role amongst the players and he gets some on the job coaching experience then I see no reason why he can't be a kind of non-playing captain/coach. If that keeps Jose happy, by reducing some of the burden of being a captain then it's definitely worthwhile IMO.

http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/sa...The_day_we_couldn_t_even_get_an_egg_/?ref=rss Davis remembers the time when the club was so hard up they couldn't have eggs for breakfast. I can remember a trainer saying that after a match he'd go into the away dressing room hoping they'd dropped vital supplies like plasters on the floor. Come a long way now...Our players can have two plasters if they want them
Frazer Richardson & Jonno Forte have just been confirmed. Anyone else think we might see 2 different XIs? Or, alternatively, the current saints can go 2 up, bring Forte on to brine it back to 2-2. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/arti...dson-and-jonathan-forte-at-skd10-3112555.aspx
It's looking that way. A number of the promotions team are in the twilight of their careers or even retired
