http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/sa...vis__Testimonial_my_last_Saints_game/?ref=rss Saw that in the Echo as well. We all knew that, but sad to see in print. He mentions his initial tough time with the fans, notably in a match against Sheffield Wednesday, so players (like elephants) apparently don't forget. We will all only have good memories about you now, Super.
Chris Perry confirmed... Despite being released a year before our first promotion. I liked him ... Did a good job for us in a dark time.
http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/sa...pectful_youngsters_gets_Kelvin_angry/?ref=rss Kelvin sounding of about his dislike of young footballers today who get paid so much, but then don't give their best. Too much money, too soon is what he means, I suppose. He adds that luckily Saints spot players like that and doesn't let them through the door.
I'm looking forward to seeing you too Rickie.... I'll be by the goal in the Northam if you need any advise on the penalties (I'll discretely point to which side you should go )
They couldn't possibly allow that now they've opened up all four stands. Too many people would be in danger...!!
Looks like the Itchen will be pretty full, Northam slowly filling and centre part of the Kingsland, but not a lot going on in the Chapel. Family Centre and Kingsland Northam corner not open yet. I so hope it will be a big crowd for him.
Got my tickets today and bringing a few of the family too. Only £14 for adults and 7 for concessions. If any one is about then get down to St Mary's, it's people like Kelvin that make football what it is. Legend of the club and deserves a sell out crowd as he leaves his playing days behind.
I was bit surprised it's no where a sell out. Unfortunately (sort of) I'm on holiday so won't be able to attend but if there's one current player who deserves, it's Kelv. Hoping a fantastic last season day & results add a few 000's to the game.
A Saturday afternoon would have been easier for people with kids, but it had to be when it is to catch players before they disperse. I hope there will be a large number of walk ups on the night.
