Keith Hill, Tranmere manager (I didn't know either...), fired even though he got them into the playoffs and the EFL Trophy final.

Tranmere chairman Mark Palios said: "Despite success achieved on the pitch in the form of securing a place in the play-offs and reaching the EFL Trophy, in the play-offs an entire season gets distilled into two or three games.

"I have to do what I think gives us the best chance of achieving promotion in those games and I have reluctantly come to the conclusion that means making the change before the semi-finals begin."

Wow that is brutal. Maybe Palios is bringing in Faria Alam.

There has to be more to that. It’s as bad as sacking Mourhino the week before the Cup Final.
How will anyone coming in have a chance to know anything?

He’s put himself in a right **** position now, what if the players down tools. If they don’t go up he’ll get “Keith would have got us up”
Very strange

Wasn’t Jose rumoured to have refused to take training because of the super league?

Keith Hill was not popular with the players at all according to a local reporter today on talksport, also his last press conference alluded to him having to "sit on his hands" over so many issues to do with the club.

The interim pair were the same pair who were in charge the first 13 games this season and actually had them up there to begin with league wise
