"3 very easy losses on the trot"

Against Everton, Spurs and Toon. All excellent teams this season. For god's sake get a grip.

    Easy? WTF are you on?

Toon, Sprurs and Everton are established PL teams, and anyway, no game in the PL is easy!!!

HeyDai- Didn't Bendan listen to you yesterday and played Moore and Routledge instead of Danny and Sinclair ? Wrong decision.

Apparently so Jash ... I use to learn so much of the old 606 site , not so much here though . I get so much info elsewhere now because I know more than most here these days frankly !! To much emotional posting here & little on what the real scoop is .

Sorry guys but i disagree that we will throw money around next year,if you think that will happen on a scale big enough to make an impact then you are deluded !! we are what we are and that IMO is a small fish in a big pond that will ALWAYS need to punch above its weight, nothing wrong with that, other teams have done it for ages and done it well!

We wernt beat by a better team we were beat by a better striker !! all credit to them for having the knowledge to sign him(cisse) and take the chance with Djembe Ba, they have been very bold in what they have done up there, getting shot of Nolan and Barton has been very clever and putting into place a wage structure was also the right thing to do, but the fact remains that other others teams wage structure will nearly always be bigger than ours.

Im very proud of the players and the club this year, its tough sometimes when your beaten by class players, what Brenden could do with a vast war chest would be frightning i reckon, but we are small fry in this league and have to accept that when it comes to money we will always lose out.

You may talk about the fantastic job done by Jenkins and the board and its right to do so, but our scouting network has been **** for years, ever since Judas took Reeves with him in fact and ive seen not much to replace him since he went. This is critical for us but to me gets neglected, without rodgers going to his Chelsea mates (sinclair,Borini trying for bertrand, josh mc) we would be pretty poor in picking up talent to push us on.

We will always turn up the odd success just by shear pot luck, all teams do but i feel that we could make more of an effort in this area considering our limited spending power. Forget us spending mega bucks, i cant see it happening, rodgers had to hold a gun to the clubs head to get the training ground and accadamy sorted out, having one of those things will be ok, having money to do both wont happen im afraid to say.

No shame in losing these last 3 games, as ive said this is the prem at the buisness end of the season and these teams are showing their class and strength in depth, a scary thing to see but its something im sure we can learn to compete with in our own way <ok>

make all the excuses you want we will still lose end of story, try listening at pundits who know about football instead of trying to think we are playing the right way. all this pretty passing has gone to brendan's and the players heads and now when you listen to football pundits on talk sport today they said.....(quote)"the trouble that swansea has got is they have gone to the extreme in the passing game, they are passing the ball far to much now and not like they were a few games back. there is no penetration and if it was not for that lad siggs then i cant see where the goals are going to come from". they are spot on again and something that brendan had better address...and quick. we have the players and we know how to play so why shoot ourselves in the foot by pleasing people with our exhibition passing game instead of what we were doing earlier in the season and that was getting forward and taking players on like dyer use to do on the wing. our passing game is gone from good to pointless as there is to much of it to make an impact and as we have all witnessed it only takes one mistake and the opposition go on to win the game. at the end of the day its brendans fault and he is slowly but surely shooting himself and career in the foot. lets get back to how we were playing a month or so ago and stop this excessive passing as its plain to see its not working and never will.....If we can cope with liverpool, chelsea arsenal and man city then your argument that we were playing everton, the toon dont add up does it. its the way we have been playing in recent games has changed and its spoiling our season that if we continue will frizzle out to nothing with millions of pounds lost as we slide down the league.....get your act together brendan and get the team playing like we all know they can and stop this over the top over excessive passing that is getting us nowhere......listen to people who know what they are talking about or better still try and get a copy of the commentary of Fridays game, it was real and precise and he is a big fan of how we played football earlier in the season but was bored by the way we are playing now. we look a different team.....

Try using paragraphs Dai, it makes it so much easier to read & understand ! Oh yes, Capitals now & again would`nt go amiss either.

I`m not having trouble reading it Dai. It was just an observation on my part.

I would assume that you were either missing from your English class in school, or that you were expelled for whatever reason, hence your poor construction ........<cheers> ......<ok>

are those the same pundits who has us down as certain relegation fodder before a ball was kicked this season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes i do agree that we are guilty of possibly not playing a more direct ball at times but lets not forget where we have come from and where we are. 6 games left 11 points clear of the drop zone

what a great season we have had and the accolades we have had

well done bendon and all the players

But compare post 27 with post 28. Both about the same length, but the one with paragraphs (Norway) makes me want to read it, but the one without (yours, SS99) makes me want to skip over it because it's just a huge chunk of text.

I don't want to skip over your posts, Dai, because they're so enlightening <ok>

Amazing how people round on a poster because his views are to some left field !!

Anyway, playing Moore and routledge from the start was a call that was very fair in light of their recent performances and the fact sinclair has been a bit below par and DG is 0-6 in the goal department, i got no problem with the selection at all.

We must remember there are 3 games in 8 days and maybe the players dropped will have that extra burst of energy when it comes to the next "must win" game.

I have a feeling there will be more changes for QPR, and i see us reverting to early season tactics like we employed away at Newcastle, that will be to work hard not to get beat, in fact i think we might be doing this for the remainder of the season away from home.

I thought we have moved away from being disrespectful to our fellow posters, the same people moaning about Daiswans comments today were the same people moaning about missing him and his views a few weeks back, at least KJ is consistant in his feelings, its quite sad picking people up on grammer on an internet chat room, who the **** cares how they punctuate when putting their point across ! as long as we all get the general drift thats all that matters !

Being grammer keen is fine, im sure most of you have a fine education and consider a spelling mistake to be the work of Evil on this message board, to me it makes no difference because i understand the general view and points made if they are typed correctly or not.

who givs a fcuk if u see no need for corect spellin on a poxy internt forom <laugh>

I'm beginning to think Rangel is in over his head & Taylor plays to many , obvious balls forward , backwards . Jazz should get a run of games in Rangel's position or someone new brought along . Taylor has so much unused potential going forward , that he shows here and there , he should be worked in the summer to know when to use it more & when not ... goes back far to many times while any chance of counter attack... fizzles

Cracker- I meant to mention Taylor earlier, he looked very very good going forward against the Toon, he has probably been the most improved player for me this season, tends to ball watch sometimes but overall he hhas done great.

Wrong again, NJ. They round on him because he turns on his team every time we get back to back losses. Not a proper fan in my book, let alone Swansea's self-proclaimed 'number one fan'.

I agree with you that we should all criticise the team/ manager/ Board when called for (for example our ponderous build up play at times but saying 'we're rubbish' is not just left field, it's inaccurate and offends most of us on here. As entitled as he is to spout such crap we're equally entitled to tell him he's a twonk.
