Why mess about in a low level when we all aspire to be at the highest!! Either way, there is no two ways about it, it is xenophobia and not racist. Accept and move on :)

Oh dear. I suggest you stop now. While I am no geneticist, I will leave you to your preconceived ideas. Facts are facts but feel free to refute them.

Then how can you celebrate each victory without a hint of shame? Every trophy? Every gloat about Hernandez? It's all false....

What a ****ing embarassing article this is. If one of them wins the playoffs they're in, and congratulations to them.

Excuse me! The ONLY thing this has to do with is bloody FOOTBALL! Can you name me another league in Europe that admits teams from another FA that has it's only league? And before you start don't quote Berwick please because that would be crap! Monaco is allowed to play in the French league becuse it does not have a league to play in in Monaco. The Welsh FA have set up their own Premier league and get their own places in the Champions League and Europa League because of it and so ALL Welsh footbal clubs should be forced to play with it. You really need to knock that bag of spuds off your shoulder mate!

I take it from the fact we are now getting some "visitors" from the principality that we have touched a raw nerve here!

Might be pointless as the Welsh FA won't have jurisdiction over them next season. They're going English baby!

Yeah it's such a travesty that Welsh clubs can compete in the joint English-Welsh league system.

A Newcastle United fan referring to THEM as United? You should be shot.

Lol the football league is actually called...... wait for it..... the ENGLISH league system. FIFA actually see their participation in the league (along with Wrexham and Aberdare) as an anomaly. FIFA rules, if actually followed, would enforced would mean they would not be allowed in our league. I do believe that they cannot qualify for Europe at all (could be wrong though) due to them being here!

I don't give a toss about some retroactive FIFA rule they don't have the conviction to enforce, the Welsh clubs been in these Leagues for years and the constitutions of both the Premier League and the Football League say that English AND Welsh clubs may compete. It's not just the "ENGLISH league system". That's all there is to it.

Well you should give a toss because it adds weight to what everyone says. Why should they have special dispensation?? I assume they were voted in by the rest of the league. We cannot deny them being in the league, we as fans hold little to no power, but retrospectively I feel, as many do, certain laws should be actioned!

I genuinely don't have an axe to grind and as stated, only live in Wales,
with roots still in the NE but can't sit and watch provocative comments
go unchallenged on a toon discussion forum.

You say this is only about the football and yet start your whole pitch with:

    "Keep the Welsh OUT!!!!!!!!"

(with shouting caps and multiple screamers for maximum effect).

Now if you'd started your 'pitch' in a more considered way and simply added
"clubs" in that title you wouldn't be coming across as a bigoted xenophobic
attention seeker and some with (and without) chips on their shoulders wouldn't
take an issue with your "them and us" attitude and actually discuss the anomaly
of x2 Welsh clubs battling to get into the top tier of your precious "English League"
which is another matter and I guess your original intention.

It IS an interesting and relevant subject for discussion and is a genuine fudge by the
FA although this is the first experience I've ever encountered of anyone feeling so badly
done by with it. I'll happily state I don't have any background or knowledge of this and
am in no way qualified to make a sound judgement/opinion on it and do see where you
are positioned on the historical discrepancy which is being highlighted in the current
    play offs.

Don't be surprised though when you get howls of indignation when loading your
comments with such a perceived (intentional or otherwise) jingoistic edge. That
is what I have a problem with here and feel obliged to comment on whether it's
    racist, xenophobic, whatever...

    BTW
The hackneyed old chestnut of "sheep shaggers" is water off a duck's back to any
Welshman I've ever met who's heard it all before but a provocative and aggressive
"them and us" English/Welsh attitude will ultimately end in resentment at best or
    more than tears at worst.

Hell, let's see Reading get promotion who've been here done that before but why not
see Swansea get in Prem with their easy on the eye flowing passing game and recent
superb best in league conceded goals record instead of a dour Wigan/Stoke//Bolton etc.

Still toon #1 all the way!!
