I remember him overtaking that Scottish keeper and becoming the number 1 keeper last season and he was considered a bright spot for a dire team.

Why are so so happy with Hamer - who is so so dire that Bristol City didn't want him on loan, conceded 7 goals in 2 games and generally has no redeeming qualities apart from a willingness to be 3rd choice and a fancy beard?

BTW I do find it amusing that your response is "Jakupovic is so crap that even we can score against him".

 

Im not happy with Hamer. I just think he will get another contract as its the easy option. We have tried to get Kasper decent competition and failed everytime. Zieler was useless and Jakupovic and Hamer are worse

 

Absolutely nothing wrong with the performance of Jakupovic last night.

 

Me personally I would get rid of Hamer and Jakupovic and buy a young hungry goalkeeper to push Kasper. Not someone who is happy picking up big wages to sit around and do nothing

 

We are linked with Andriy Lunin who is a highly rated 19 year old Ukrainian keeper.

 

Seen this rumour when I’ve browsed foxstalk. Lots seem to think he will be aiming for higher or 1st choice for a club like us and not want to sit in the bench behind Kasper

Our problem has been Hamer and Jakupovic came here to be back up

Only Zieler came here with the ambition to get the gloves off Kasper. Only problem was he was utterly useless

 

Do agree there, I don’t think Jako is that bad but Kasper hasn’t had proper competition

 

This last week have shown just how good a front 3 of Vardy, Mahrez and Iheanacho are. They should have been given alot more time together this season

If by some miracle we keep hold of Mahrez then they could well destroy alot of teams next season if we can sort the supply lines out in the summer

Brighton have confirmed they wont be trying to sign Leonardo Ulloa. Newcastle have already ruled out signing Islam Slimani and Swansea’s relegation ruled out Andy King signing there permanent

So they will all return or be sold to other clubs

Fuchs has already said this is his final season as his family live in the States

I think Okazaki and Simpson can earn new contracts over the season but I think if they havent left before then we should be letting Morgan, Benalouane and Ulloa go

 

Need to sell Musa, King, James, Ulloa and Benelouane for me, some of those may interest promoted clubs and top end championship clubs, but gunna be a mammoth task to offload Benny after he gets sent off at the world cup

 

I would keep King. The last few months proved we missed depth. King always does a job. Never outstanding but never lets us down. He is a true team player and a legend here. I would rather have him here adding depth and being around the team then a couple of quid in the bank

I would have sacked Puel a month ago but not now. Give him the window and pre season to sort the team out

Now is the time to back him fully and give him 10-15 games into the new season before we decide whether or not to sack him
