Agree mostly but why would you sell two of our best U21 prospects in Gray and Barnes and keep a 30+ year old who had a mardy fit and went on strike like Ulloa?

 

I think Ulloa offers us something different up front (and boy have we missed it recently)

I don't think Barnes will cut it at this level and Gray has moaned about not being in the 1st team, he's been given his chance and (for me) hasn't taken it. I think Gray thinks he is better than he is. Hope he proves me wrong though.

 

Miles too early to say that about Barnes. A year in th championship on loans and revisit the situation then would be the best decision

Remember at 25 Jamie Vardy wasnt deemed good enough to be a professional football so miles too early to write Barnes off

 

If we want a big man, I'd rather us bring someone else in in with miles on the clock rather then someone at the end of his career.

Off the top of my head, Aleksandar Mitrovic from Newcastle seems to have finally grown up - deal involving Slimani would do the job.

Rumours are that West Ham want Slimani for Andy Carroll - he is a sicknote but is capable of doing the job if kept fit.

Im probably being generous with some of the squad players, but don't think theres time to have a mass exodus, and most would need to be assessed pre-season.

Would also sell squad players if the offers decent, and loan out those i haven't listed.

Elder had a cracking season at Wigan with some notable performances against Premier League opposition ... he's also quite a big lad ... magine him on the left side of a back 3 with Maguire and, hopefully Dragovic ...

 

With Chilwell wing back where he’d be more natural...

All we’d really need for that kind of formation would be a CB (Dragovic?) a RWB with Albrighton as back up and a proper number 10. For example that Pereira from Porto, T Hazard and Dragovic and that could make a world of difference with Silva getting a full pre-season and Iheanacho and of course an ambitious manager

 

Newcastle have sent Slimani back and Jakupovic is being linked away thank god

 

What do you have against Jakupovic - he has literally done nothing while unlike Hamer who has conceded 7 goals in 2 games.

Just like Dragovic, I have no idea why Puel doesn't start Jakupovic as what we currently have is really not working.

 

Seem to have been proven right about Jakupovic from what I've heard on the radio.

Never rated the bloke at Hull. He cant handle crosses, poor shot stopper and doesnt command his box at all

I think he is an utter liability

 

Didn't show any of that in only his second game for us vs half decent opposition in Arsenal - is strange how he is really well thought of at Hull if he is so rubbish.

Either way it looks like Jakupovic wants to leave - and I don't blame him if Hamer is in front of him who has shown that he can't handle crosses, is a poor shot stopper and doesn't command his box in his last games for us.

Unfortunately Daniel Iversen doesn't look ready so we might be stuck with Hamer for a while as half decent players content to be benchwarmers are not easy to find.

 

Didnt you see him at Fleetwood away or ever watch him play for Hull. Just look at Mahrez’s goal against Hull at the KP last year. Even Fuchs’ goal went under him

He is useless just Hull signed a Scottish goalkeeper to play ahead of him. Says all you need to know about why he played the odd game

I think Hamer will get another year and it will be Kasper and Hamer next year
