You'll be rushing about on Chrimbo eve with the rest of us, wondering why Ratners shut down, and thinking "what was that ****ing perfume called?"

I know what her perfume is. I phoned one of her pals

Normally she puts things she likes on her Amazon wish list and I raid it. This year she overheard me tell her pals how easy it makes it for me and the bitch wiped out her wish list <grr>

Why do they do this? Why wouldn't you want something you want rather than stealing a man's time making him think of something you probably ultimately won't want.

Is manipulation of someone else's life worth more than getting a gift you want to women?

Mad bastards.

I've got round this in an outlook note which has all the teenage daughters and the missus' chosen urban decay colour palettes. It's sorted me for the last two Christmases and unless either their skin changes colour or expensive designer make up goes out of fashion, should be good to go for another couple of years.

Ah know <grr>

Apparently we "should know" what they want. How the **** am ah supposed to know that?

Missus to me: "What do you want for your fortieth"
Me: A new guitar - probably won't be able to afford the actual one I want so here's a list of ES-355, 335, Sheraton and Lucille copies that I would totally love dependant on how much you can afford - what are you wanting, pet?"
Her: "Surprise me, nothing too expensive and definitely don't arrange a party (her pal later texted me to say she definitely wants a party)"

It's the single aspect of femininity that scunners me the most.
