The most arrogant twats in the league. I'm glad they lost 6-1 shame it wasn't 10-1 and I hope they go down. Thought they were better than us and Norwich, so I'm really pleased Norwich are staying up too.
TLF you obviously have a more current information regarding QPR, and thanks for sharing it with me, I'm obviously cutting them slack they don't deserve, and I know how it feels when you have a youngster with you and it gets intimidating at away grounds! The Norwich boys are a credit, but I must admit I've struggled to get to terms with QPR supporters. I noticed someone mentioned on here previously after our game at Loftus Road, that he was glad to get away from the ground, not sure that was you TLF! Knackered we are obviously in a minority, hell the Blacks are more of an issue up there..............
Dilli didn't you go to our game at Loftus road, I'm sure you stated what a dump the ground and fans were, could be wrong though? Let us know Dilli.............
Yes I know, good to get him focused on the tarts at Loftus Road though!..................... please log in to view this image
You cant really level the anti-welsh thing with them while our own fans have sung anti-English songs for years ! Even when our team is full of English players! I dont really have any issue with QPR other than the fact prem safety would make them a very strong team NeXT season, hughes would have the bit between the teeth then and that would mean one more difficult money team to compete with! For this reason i would like them relegated
QPR - an example of how not to run a football club, throwing money around with no sense of continuity. They do seem to have a disproportionate amount of arrogant fans too and their physical approach to the game is unpleasant and we always suffer against teams like that. In short - hope they go down!!
Phil, it was me who went to QPR. They were a horrible bunch. Worst ground in the league and worst fans. Nothing racist against the Welsh it's just that from start to finish it was hassle all the way. Went into the walkabout for a few pints before the game and from there it was a 10 minute walk to the ground. Groups of QPR chavs hanging about acting all hard looking for our fans. Pathetic or what ? Well there were three of us, wearing our colours and when we walked passed they had a go, when we stood our ground they just bottled it (there was about 20 of them) and walked off to probably try to intimidate families. The police were just up the road, saw it, but weren't interested. Same after too going back to the coach, telling us to fcuk off and suggesting fisticuffs. Again not interested when we stood our ground. The facilities in the ground are prehistoric too, the concourse was about 10 ft wide and the toilets were of Vetch standards. I really hope that they go down along with Blackburn and of course Wolves. They have been the 3 worst away trips. At Blackburn and Wolves their tosspot fans were throwing things at us. So if all three go down I will be delighted. If QPR don't go down then next season I'll be sure to go to the ground with large numbers of our fans. Funny thing is that at all he other London clubs we've had a decent welcome. Arsenal had a drinking area opposite the away fans entrance and at Fulham we were even invited into a pub called The Golden Lion which was home fans only. There was 4 of us and about 200 Fulham !! Fans of Fulham, Arsenal, Spurs and Fulham all spoke equally with contempt about QPR. 5hit ground, 5hit fans and of course they've got that tosser Bothroyd slapping his head at the end of the game too. Hope they get relegated all the way to the conference. Sorry, rant over !
Well hopefully thier 4 year plan leads to another 4 years dropping down the leagues maybe it will humble the ***** amongst them !
from a financial point of view, they've made some horrendous decisions, like losing £25m last season and having a wage turnover ratio of 180%. lets see what fernandes ambition is like if they are relegated and ends up losing another £30m next season. i've got to admit, this fernandes chap seems to be in it for one massive publicity stunt, reminds me of phil brown and paul duffen of hull city a few years back.
Ooer, glad I didn't take my other half down then. It was a choice of the game or a weekend in the lake district. Actually made the right choice for a change.
"this fernandes chap seems to be in it for one massive publicity stunt" He's Malaysian though, right? Dilli: What's wrong with Townhill? Though have to say last time I took my car up there I buckled a wheel when a kid threw a house brick as I was passing. True.
Bit harsh! Townhill is a LOT nicer than it used to be. Bearing in mind that it was such a poor area the EU gave it Objective One funding (if memory serves me correctly), it's a damn sight nicer than it used to be!
