This is all just ****ing ridiculous. Where did it all come from? Where did they suddenly get this idea that getting rid of everyone at the club is the way forward? In fact, what the **** is their actual plan?!

Unfortunately, some things are told to me in confidence and until I'm given the green light, I can't post them.

All I can say for now, is that the Allam's have behaved unbelievably badly in several different regards and their actions will have a very negative impact on the club.

I really thought we'd get one more season to have a go...

Selling is madness, unless the players were asking to go - or wouldn't extend and were getting close to going (Koren?)

Indeed. How on earth do you tell young kids that there favourite players wont be here next season ? That is something that i dont look forward to doing when the time comes.

Last night the lads looked shocked, angry and sad. The whole group will not get to achieve what they would have done next season thanks to a couple of plonkers who have more money than good sense.

I think you do "get it". One of only a few.

Rational common sense is a bit of a rare commodity on this board.

I don't have to substantiate it, I'm telling you what happened, if you don't chose to accept it, then you're more than welcome to ignore it. <ok>

No more Man Utd kids i would expect now for starters. Who on earth would want to come to Hull City now ? All the good work of the season gone in less than 2 days. :emoticon-0106-cryin

If lambo is worried, this makes me very nervous of the clubs future. He's usually not far off the mark.

I'd also wager it's a rare commodity with the Allams at the moment! This cloak and dagger stuff is doing them no favours with regards to clearing up the situation.

I accept what OLM says is probably very near the truth. It matters not, decisions have been made and at this point no turning back.

Consider the possibility that this may be a good move in the long run.

    Keep the Faith.

been reading through all the posts since this all came out and havnt posted yet, at first i was disappointed with the suspension of barmby and a little shocked, not so much pearson.

First things first with Adam Pearson yes he came in and saved us , but i was always a little apprehensive about him after his sale of us to bartlett and duffen and the immortal words 'im leaving the club in safe hands', secondly when he took over at hull fc i really dont see how you combine the two roles bit of a conflict of interests as somebodys already pointed out, id like to ask adam pearson one question and that would be if you could make the people of hull go watch one team and one team only in this city who would it be. i wonder what his answer would be id bet my house it'd be hull fc.

Onto Barmby, i like him and liked him as our manager, got us playing some good football shame about the striker situation, the more i think about his comments to the media the more i think he used it to kind of back the owners into a corner regarding funds. the reason for this is every football fan wants to see there club spend cash and buy top players and do well so by saying what he said he was always going to have the fans on his side, and if the owners came out and said sorry nicky your going to have to wheel and deal, they were on a loser straight away. I think he went about the thing totally the wrong way, smacks of a lack of impatience demanding to know how much hes got and a bit of lack of respect for the allams.

I admire nicks ambition and wanting to take the club forward but really at what cost would that of been, i wonder how much money he really wanted and im not just talking transfer fees im talking wages and contracts offered to secure these players. I say this all with these ffp rules on the horizon especially if were looking at a 7m loss next season, the allams and pearson stated when they first came the wanted a sustainable business , and used swansea as an example. 7M pound plus 4 or 5 players on who knows what wages and costing who knows what transfer fees isnt sustainable. Maybe the year after yes when the likes of ghilas, mcshane and olifinjana are off the books yes by all means we'l have a transfer kitty, but we've all looked at that free transfer list and to be fair theres plenty of quality on there without having to spend transfer fees.

When City and FC had a fixture on the same night recently, he went to the City game.

Cant imagine Barmby was going to spend mega bucks, he will have just wanted enough to realistically compete for the top 6

OLM - not denying what you say is true but I wonder why these two numbskulls that are the Allams have decided in their infinite wisdom that Billy Davies (if it is him) is the way forward. I wonder also (a) how they got to hear of the little Jock bearing in mind they know nowt about football and (b) believe he is the man for the job when his reputation to anyone who knows about the game preceeds him.

Unbelievable - I really don't think they know what abuse is around the corner for them I really don't.

I've no idea how they came up with him, maybe he was someone who was discussed before Barmby was appointed. I'm also not certain it is going to be him, he has apparently met with the Allam's, but it seems he's not the only name in the frame, there's a suggestion on CI that it's not him and that a deal has already been agreed with whoever it is(McCarthy possibly).

not really going to get into a tit for tat argument, just trying to see things from both sides.

with pearson though employed as head of football directions or whatever, surely if hes paid in the role he has to attend the hull city game over the hull fc one or wouldnt he be neglecting his duties, my comment was more in a business sense im pretty sure ap would rather have people attending fc games and spending money than hull citys, conflict of interests.

dont get me wrong id love for barmby and the allams to kiss and make up, just think nicky seems to have jumped in with both feet through the media instead of being a little more suttle and waiting for the actual meeting, before pressurising them and getting the fans on his side though the local media.

as for nicky not asking for much, what isnt much on top of a 7m difference in income and expenditure.

Funds weren't available, that's precisely why Nick felt the need to make the comments he did.

The Allam's wouldn't sanction the deals he wanted to do, they are trying to get round this by saying that there were funds available but not for the deals that Nick wanted to do. Loans for youth players from Arsenal and Man United were at a low enough wage, but any proven player was unacceptably expensive. They are being economical with the truth.
