Anyway, getting back on track in case a thread is hijacked.

Is it no wonder that PJ needed a bit of time considering our last 2 managers, with one obsessed in signing old playing buddies, and the other Sunderland reserves, its no wonder we got slaughted by some smaller clubs. A well organised team with less talented players will always overcome a less organised but more skillful side. the problem that we had last year was crap players and not organised so its no wonder minnows in the league made us look silly!

    Anyway onwards and upwards.

A typical small minded Budgie response! <laugh>

They never look at the bigger picture only the same old obsession with Ipswich Town! Jealousy is such an ugly trait wouldn't you say Thailand!

As i have always said JWM, they base their season/achievements on us because they rate us as the club to judge themselves against. i.e. the pinnacle of their dreams. So in reality, they know we are bigger than them, i.e in the past and in the future that will always be the case.

I heard a great story this weekend from the father-in-law about how Norwich the club now treats people now they are in the premier league. before this season all supporters coach drivers (home and away) would be allowed into the game and to get discounted refreshments as a thank you for their trouble and the service they provide, Now they are in the premier league, this has all been banned and if a driver wants to see the game they have to stump up £25 to buy a ticket. Talk about forget where you come from!

It was an honest response to a question posed by one of yours JW. That team last season was very good, no matter what other way anyone wants to label them, and the bulk of that team now appears to be making the step up at the top level (ok, I accept it's early days still). As has been said frequently in the past, it's a team of nobodies - but it's a TEAM <ok>

Do you reckon you will have celebrations in 10 years time to celebrate 10 years on from beating Ipswich 5-1 and 4-1 in the same season?? Basing on what you normally celebrate I would assume so!!!

No itfcptc, thats normally left for the 50 year celebration of a non-achievement. I mean in reality all that happened is that they took 6 points from us. i.e. they did the double, **** me if we ever had celebrations for doing that we would be permanently pissed!

    Small Club, small mentality!

In reality you were seriously pissed off after both games, so you can hardly say it doesn't matter

Doesn't matter what the answer was it was always going to be treated by some as a joke because of your history by comparison is better although somewhat further back in history.

The sad fact is, most of us werent seriously pissed off after these games because it wasnt a great shock. You played well last season and we were below pitiful for the majority of the season. if they were one-offs (a two off/) and we were generally playing well other than the derby games then I would have been seriously annoyed but it was just about what we deserved.

Tractorbhoy, i couldn't have put it better myself. thats the thing with us we don't hide behind excuses when we lose, when we don't deserve anything we will say it.
