Ok, so if Kane overtakes Salah in the PL goal charts does that mean most folk on here will change their votes to Kane, or am I missing something?
Hahaha, Schmeichel was....best keeper I’ve ever seen, and I spent years watching Big Nev in his prime.
De Bruyne's been better overall. Salah's been better since City wrapped up the title, basically. Can we have a choice that isn't an ex-Chelsea player that Mourinho sold? Lukaku? No, wait...
KDB still for me. He stood up when it counted, and maybe he cooled off but only when the league was won. Salah has played all season with no pressure, he has never been involved in the league title race. This is PL only.
Dyche. Had **** all money and he's pushing his side into Europe. The miserable **** might even smile if he won it.
I suppose better movement ahead of him will make a difference but he just doesn't seem quite at it lately to me
KDB just edges it for me. His all round game is excellent and is the standout player in a superb City side. Salah been immense though, wouldn't surprise me if he wins it. As for manager, Dyche definitely. Shoestring budget in comparison with most of the league, seventh in the table, fourth best defence, got two players in the England squad, ****ing amazing job. Pep's City are brilliant but I always find it hard rating a manger who has everything on a plate for them. Spent over £200m on defence alone and as Pool & Utd have shown in recent games, it's still fragile as **** if you actually attack it.
KDB. Controls the game, gets involved attacking and defending and still has a good number of goals and assists for someone whos essentially playing like pirlo and mega deep. Salahs been amazing but City have won the league at a canter. For people saying he's gone off the boil you're literally talking about the 2 CL games because City have still been smashing teams up in the league (not including united as KDB didn't play against them)
I do think if a team wins the league and a player is integral to that, then that person should win it. I remember when David Ginola won the season Roy Keane was the best CM in Europe, world probably, as United won a treble and Spurs won jack ****. Utter joke. That's why De Bruyne just edges it, although Salah has been brilliant all season. I'd have said Silva but he went a bit off the boil when he had that issue with is child being born prematurely. Understandably so.
