It's one thing to say things could go wrong, but to say you 100% guarantee is crazy.

Is every club that owns its stadium in trouble.

Hell, even if profit was behind the Allam's takeover, does that mean City get shafted?

They've not gone round slapping puppies anywhere else they put in money.

Middlesbrough as a town hasn't got a city centre - accepted that it is close to the town centre on the dockside and having parked in their car park its a tw*t to get out of.

As for the Reebok, it may be accessible (by car) but its in Horwich and has only one boozer as I recall anywhere near the place. A lot of Bolton supporters don't like the fact that its well out of town and would have liked to have remained in Bolton when they left Burnden Park.

Just a thought. The Council did not worry about building a new school on Princess Elizabeth Playing Fields even though it was donated to the CITY as a Recreation Area for the Citizens of Hull. Ask them to allow a Sporting Centre of Excellence to be built on Walton Street Car Park then they say a 2 week fair for out of town travellers owning rip off stalls and rides must be allowed to continue. Never trust a councillor, they only want your vote in May and then they forget about you for another 4 years.

The sooner the Allams own the stadium the sooner Hull City will move foward .. Not owning the stadium will always hold us back . . For a start the council will never increase the capacity should we get back in the premier league ..

As far as I remember didn't the council say they wanted them to put in the KC for nothing but would get a share of any of the profits generated

They got the funding from selling 50% of KC on the stock market. They didn't have to find funding from anywhere else.

Not if there are covenants stating the club can not be sold with out the ground which could be placed as condition of any transfer to the Allams
