The B-side of Hounds Of Love, The Ninth Wave, is my favourite collection of Kate's songs.
Did she play "Hello Earth" - absolutely sumptuous.
Thanks for the compliment.
Nah, I don't get bothered by individuals who take cheap shots.
Getting back to the KB concert last night. I'm at home now and have caught up with some of the reviews and news articles about the gig. All of them totally positive. What's not to like..?
One or two people have said, online, that they are a bit disappointed with the setlist, but all I can say to that is that as usual with Kate the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. The theatrical set-piece performances of, firstly the Ninth Wave suite and then after the interval, the Sea of Honey suite were artistically of a very, very high order.
If some want to snide and make cheap sneers, well, they're entitled to their opinion, but their opinions tell us more about them than they do about Kate.
I read the Simon Price one.
It was very gushing.
But then, he is a cock-crazed mega-bender, devil-horn-haired freakshow so horses for courses.
I like Wuthering Heights and Babooshka. Some of the others are ok too.
She's a beautiful woman, but always a bit scrawny for my liking.
anyone who writes a song called "the man with the child in his eyes " ..
should be taken out and shot.
