Kevin Lisbie was a much better player than Grant. There are certain similarities in their game. Bags of pace and an inability to finish. Also Grant has no football brain.

    No bottle either.
Could have forced a red-card decision from the referee, or perhaps even been clear in on an empty net.
But he was more interested in not getting clattered.

Gobbo has had a dig at KAG in the Newshopper. Asked why he wasn’t even on the bench v Fleetwood, the Gob said he needs to make more of an impact the next time he gets a chance.

Fair comment - but has he considered that maybe KAG just isn’t good enough?

But how many more chances is KAG going to get?
He starts games and has no effect. He comes off the bench and has no effect.
Every now and then he'll get a decent pass right, or dribble past a couple of players. No shortage of effort, but nowhere near enough effect.
And him jumping over the goalkeeper recently was the last straw for me.
Loan him out to somebody in January, or better still get seventy or eighty grand for him - sold as seen, one very careful owner.
Perhaps a change of Club is what he needs now.

To me he looks totally devoid of confidence when he moves on to the big stage. Same happened to Joe Pigott only even more so. His natural position was always as a striker, and a striker without confidence may as well pack it in.

I don’t want to be too harsh as he’s a victim of the regimes business model, but he’s probably at a conference level as things stand.

Feel for the guy in truth.
