pearson wont be back for our players as he to go for proven players. remember his clock is ticking to the sack so has no time to take the risk. i dont think city would sell anyway. waghorn may well go back in jan but he is leicesters player on loan here.
Karl Robinson looks to be a decent manager. He's done a good job MK Dons, gets on really well with his players and is also a young manager with lots of ambition. I wouldn't mind seeing him come in.
Totally agree and far to many have wrote Eddie Howe off, he has had a bad start at Burnley but i fully expect him to turn it around and he can spot a strike in Charlie Auston.
Don't know about this one. AP may think again about appointing a young up and coming manager after what happened when he brought Phil Parkinson here. Could all this talk of a younger manager be a smoke screen and an experienced manager be brought in? Somebody that hasn't been mentioned yet??
So could I though, all you need to do is look on Sky Sports News, see some hype about a League 1 striker and pick up the phone In all seriousness though, I don't feel he deserves that much credit for the signing, Austin was all over every sports website and several clubs were interested, it's not like he picked him out of the blue from the Austrian 2nd division
Fair i agree, but i just rate him for what he did at Bournemouth, just think he is worth a shot as much as the next young manager.
I think he spotted Austin before he played in the football league, he definitely had him on trial at Bournemouth, but the owner wouldn't give funds for the move. Either way he was one of the first wanting to take a gamble on him.
another name not yet mentioned is DIETMAR HAMANN the ex. Liverpool and Germany midfielder who has just quit @ stockport county. vastly experienced player who has been up there and done it. he was part of the liverpool team who came back from 3-0 down @ HT to win the Champions League final for Liverpool in 2005.
As a player... We need someone who can get us out of one of the hardest leagues in the world to win promotion from and he has no experience of this league.
??? He has 4 months experience of managing in non-league football, who leaves his team in about 17th place. No thanks
But he walked out on Stockport. So basically he's just done the same as Pearson at City. I don't want another manager who'll just tear up their contract, and walk out on us at the drop of a hat, whenever he feels like it. Doesn't sound very good to me.
If Robinson does come in there is a chance Hamann could also! Wasn't he on the coaching staff @ MK Dons before Stockport?
