Dropping points against West Ham and Bournemouth compounded our problems. We need to beat City, Arsenal and Chelsea at home now. We also need maximum points till the end of the year.
I agree on the positioning Dribs, but it doesn't mean Karius is not a good keeper. He's still learning and will make mistakes along the way.
Got his angles all wrongs. Did you see where the ball finished up on that 2nd goal? Was a shocking attempt to close the ball down and make himself big
This is where I agree with Carra and disagree with you. He is full of mistakes and should be 'rested'. When we need wins, this is no time to let him do his learning. He can surely do that in the reserves. We have an experienced GK on the bench. Mignolet probably feels he didn't deserve to be demoted. Why did he pay the price for mistakes when his replacement gets off free ?
Because he wasn't his buy. All managers give their own buys more time than ones brought by previous ones.
that's not a very good reason though is it . If that really is in klopps thinking then he should be admonished for it
Pundit: Liverpool ignored my advice to sign this Prem star, he's now wanted by Tottenham CHRIS KIRKLAND has revealed how he advised his former club Liverpool to sign Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...tenham-Liverpool-Transfer-News-Rumours-Gossip
The problem being........at what point do you re-introduce Karius if you replace him with Migs? When Migs makes mistakes? I can't see Klopp going down that road........I would defo stick with Karius
Because Mignolet has had a few years to prove himself and has failed. Karius has been only been here for a few games.
I would deffo stick with Karius too.... if only because it helps chelsea that a rival isn't playing their best 11 XD
Exactly - Migs has made mistakes consistently for 3 years. Karius may not be the answer but Migs certainly isn't.
Buying a goalkeeper is now like gambling. You don't know what to expect. Maybe we should have gone for Joe Hart.
Do we want to win the title or get into top 4 or not? If that is a priority then we cannot afford to drop points. We dropped 5 points out of a very possible 6. We let in 6 goals. Many of them 100% avoidable. And many due to the GK. Yes, we keep mignolet until he make mistakes The only reasons that can be put forward for retaining him in the team are sentimental ones.
I think Klopp has shown that he can more out of players - can't see why Karius could be any different. The good thing is that Klopp will back and defend his players - I'm sure he'll be having words behind closed doors though.
