Yes for a reasonable wage, it's not an area we're desparately needing cover for though.

Who? Never heard of him (not even through the medium of football manager). Mind you I'd never heard of Tiote before we signed him, or Cabaye.

Karim Koceila Yanis Ziani (born 17 August 1982 in Sèvres, Hauts-de-Seine, France) is an Algerian professional footballer. He currently plays as a creative midfielder for the Turkish club Kayserispor[2] on loan from German Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg, and for the Algerian national team. He has the talent to play in different positions, although he is best known for being a midfielder.

Ziani alongside Antar Yahia and Faouzi Chaouchi is considered to be a national hero by many Algerians as it was his cross that led to the goal that put them into their first World Cup competition since 1986 at the expense of bitter rivals Egypt.

Ziani was born in Sèvres, France, to an Algerian father from Béjaïa and a French mother. Ziani is married and has 2 children: a girl, Lina, and a boy, Kaïs.[3] Ziani has a twin sister by the name of Karima who is married to fellow Algerian international Antar Yahia.[4]

Though diminutive in stature, Ziani more than makes up for his lack of physicality with his outstanding technique and never-say-die spirit.

    From wiki.

depends if DL's going to release a statement after saying hes used a big chunk of the 35m on his agent fee's etc! cant hurt getting him, although ad prefer we take a look at areas of the starting xi that need seeing to 1st rather then back ups/rotation players

Going to have to give this one a big fat YES, seen him plays a few times and he has outstanding ability to dictate games, although I can only presume hes been poor for Wolfsburg since they are letting him go...

Sure he was actually born in France and when he was younger was getting compared to Zidane (obviously slightly ridicolus when you look at him now)

But for free yes, and if Pardew could get the best out of him could be similar level to Ben arfa at is best... Ben arfa, Ziani in wide attacking positions would be lethal
