Have I missed this or has nobody mentioned the possibility of a swap deal yet? Kalou plus cash for Walcott? Given that both players have been linked with a move to the other's club and they're not too dissimilar, it wouldn't be a massive surprise for the media to suggest it, at least. Whether there's any truth in either rumour is far more debatable, though.
I don't think we'll sell Walcott personally. He's too important to Wenger's plans. But I would take Kalou, although much maligned I actually rate him.
He's never really impressed me but I wouldn't have a problem if Wenger brought him in on a loan deal until end of the season. As Bear says, not sure we need him but we are short of options over the next few weeks and maybe plans are afoot for one or two to be shown the door, Kalou's arrival might just give Wenger a few months to think about permament replacements or whether Kalou really does meet the standard...
Wenger wont sell Walcott. Apparently the deal is for £3 million which is'nt bad actually.I guess he would be cover for Walcott and Gervinho and therefore get a fair few games. Still would MUCH prefer Hazard though.
He's going to be going to the ACON right? So I don't see why we would bother, also apparently he wants 90k a week, and we're struggling to give Walcott 85k a week. So all in all, this is bullshit.

Are you tripping ? Arshavin has had blinding games for Arsenal, you can't say the same about Kalou. Need I remind you of Arshavin's blitz against Liverpool. Arshavin has far more talent than Kalou .. he just isn't producing for us and hasn't for well over a season.
Don't live off yesterday's news. At this moment in time, Kalou is better than Arshavin. Both however, are dire.
Last time Arshavin scored a goal? Or made an assist? The guy couldn't finish his dinner and couldn't dribble to save his life. He had one good season, that's it.
The point arsenal4life is trying to make is at his best Arshavin is World Class - at his best kalou is a slower version of Downing - but yes currently they are both kack with kalou putting in a bit more effort. But all said and done rather have Arshavin if a miracle happens and he returns to form it could be a god send.
Agree but even if he came to form - we would need players he is 30 - plus we still have to replace Nasri and Fab - (Still holding out for the double miracle of hazard and gotze in the summer)

Kalou has never been decent - Arshavin has .... big difference. Kalou has never terrorised a team ... Arshavin has. Arshavin has also done it at international level, Kalou hasn't. When did Kalou last get a game ? What has Kalou done recently for you to say he is at present better than Arshavin ? Stay off the drugs bloke. Arshavin got an assist in our penultimate game if memory serves.
I think you are all missing my point. Kalou at this moment in time, is better than Arshavin. Can I make that any clearer?
