Swords: Location Dublin Me: Season Ticket holder Seems I have clearly seen Taarabt a lot more than you, so I'll go with my opinion thanks very much. Messi and Iniesta haven't kicked a ball in the Premier League either. How much under £10m would you pay for them then? Jordan Henderson, £20m. Really?? Really??
Ah that old chestnut again. I seen over 20 games last season, watched every highlights show, all the games I didn't see I listened to on WORLD and read every match report. I'll have my opinion as well thank you, Bakes old son. As for Iniesta and Messi, well that's just plain silly. Ok I'll rephrase if I must: "And saying 10m quid isn't enough for a player that's never kicked a TOP FLIGHT ball is bordering on the ridiculous"
You really have no idea have you? Taarabt played for Spurs in the Prem, they bought him for over £3m as a 17year old, Damien Comoli described him as 'one of the best talents in Europe' What 20games did you travel over from Ireland to see by the way? I've seen Tarbs about 30times this season, fair play he has had some ****e but he's also been unplayable on plenty of occasions.
Okay, perhaps not quite 20 more like 12/13! I seen the 10 or so on TV and went over to 3..........Gimme a break bakes man, there's a recession on. I can barely afford to keep the arse in my trousers never mind Jet-setting all over the shop! Anyway, that's all immaterial cos I do know my Rangers. I agree with you that the lad has a great raw talent. If COLIN can harness that properly next season he could be unplayable. But you must admit there's still a question mark over his temperament and whether or not we could continue to play a system that revolves around one player, at such a high level. Don't forget, every game Tarbs missed last season we lost! Good argument though bakes, you know your ball in fairness.
Cheers Swords, I see your point also. Problem is, I've seen so much ****e at loftus Road over the last 15years that I'll hang on to anything a bit special... And he is just that (IMO)
eh hem Swords... Donnie away? Take your point though, it did feel more than a bit hollow despite Hogan's rare display. Given half a chance I reckon the kid will make impact in the prem. It's a risk that it won't work out for him or us - but it's surely one worth taking. We've got no one else ffs. And as I keep saying. What's Carroll got that Taarbs ain't? Give it till January.
