You might want to read the summing-up.

The judge agrees that Terry did say those things to Anton Ferdinand - so to try and claim he is innocent is an outright lie.

No idea, but it's clear that he would only have had time for one short word.
Perhaps we'll get to see the unseen footage that the court got to view?

Even the judge says Terry is innocent in his summing up, by stating:
    * Terry did use those words
    * Terry's explanation was utter BS
    * Terry was trying to avoid going to court
    * Terry's legal team's attempts to discredit Ferdinand were cynical and desperate

Cleared? Don't insult the intelligence of those who can read.

The worst part is the media is going with the simplified, and utterly wrong, version that Terry is cleared - for example, the BBC is reporting he was cleared and cites his cock and bull story of trying to say he was saying "Who called you a ****ing black ****?" in response to Ferdinand telling him he was racially abused by someone else as gospel, despite the judge rejecting that statement.

Also, why are the FA saying they will sanction Terry and Ferdinand? What was Ferdinand's crime, exactly? Is he being sanctioned for not keeping schtum?

If there's a group that can't be reasoned with, it's the pro-Terry camp that you two are part of.

I, and others, have stated there is a clear difference between a verdict of Not Guilty and being found innocent. That you continue to ignore this, and abuse people who state this clear fact, underlines how you are hoping to hoodwink people into mistaking the two - or bully them into it, judging by your response to dissenters on your board. Yes, I checked - you lot are vilifying Rio Ferdinand at the moment.

I quoted, verbatim, the summing-up by the judge that does not say that Terry is innocent - in fact, it states that Terry did say Ferdinand was a "****ing black ****", and that Terry's explanation was an insult to the intelligence of everyone who heard it. Anyone drawing the conclusion that Terry is innocent either has not read or heard the summing-up, or is hoping other people haven;t so are trying to con them into believing Terry was found innocent. Neither is the case.

How can you "reason" when it's clear as day Terry abused Ferdinand? Just because you lot idolise him (because you cockerney love the slit eyed pitbull faced ****er) doesn't mean he cant do wrong.

Basically, if the shoe were on the other foot and he were found guilty and we were the ones protesting like complete ****wits that he was still innocent - we'd look like proper stupid ****s wouldn't we? You were not at the case nor did you have all the evidence the judge did. JT = NOT guilty of racial abuse, end of story.

Probably the 100th stupid person I've come across since yesterday's verdict who is judging the whole court case on a 5 second clip.

All I have to say on the matter, tired of explaining. Continue to make your pointless musings among yourselves.

Not only have I read the full verdict, I've posted the summing-up on this forum - it's post #64 in this thread.

Don't try to pull the "You weren't there, you don't know" line when the verdict is on record and in public domain for anybody to read. Doing so falls into line with exactly what I said about the pro-Terry camp trying to hoodwink some into believing he was innocent, and being quick to verbally abuse those who dare disagree because they actually understand the verdict for what it is, rather than the simplistic version people are trying to peddle that has no bearing on the actual outcome.

And here's another example of it.

The pointless musings are those banging on about Terry being innocent and cleared of the charges, which he isn't and wasn't. They're pointless because they're as incorrect as they are ignorant.

Oh what a load of arse, it came out in court he said what he said, say if it was Steven Gerrard court rather than John Terry you would be spitting blood in anger that he got let off, but in typical Chelsea fashion, just like the club the fans show no class, yeah our captain is a love cheat, a racist and an all round prick, but we all love him.

    This ones my favourite:

This sounds closer to the truth..<laugh>

John Terry is planning to celebrate the not guilty verdict in his racial abuse trial and the reinstatement of his ‘good name’ by having sex with Anton Ferdinand’s girlfriend.
Terry left court victorious today and his spokesperson said he was looking forward to getting back to normal by having sex with someone he definitely shouldn’t be having sex with.
“Mr Terry is delighted by today’s verdict, and his first call was to Mr Ferdinand’s girlfriend in the hope she would join him to ‘celebrate’.”
“Mr Ferdinand is currently in Hong Kong with his team, and so Mr Terry is keen to ensure all three of them put this behind them as soon as possible. Over cocktails.”
    Terry Innocent
Chief Magistrate Howard Riddle said he had heard a great deal of evidence to show Mr Terry was a bit of a prick, but that right now this was insufficient to put him in prison.
In his judgement, he wrote, “Sure, putting John Terry in prison would make a lot of people very happy, but if being an risible human being was enough to get you prison time this country would be nothing more than a room with about four nurses.”
“So unfortunately he can go about his business being desperately unpleasant to pretty much everyone as long as he likes.”

Why do people call Chelsea the Chavs anyway?

More like the Chaps since their recent hyper-gentrification.

  18. I suppose it's something to do with the "classless" jibe that we sometimes make about a certain type of Chelsea fan.

Anyway, they call us "spuds" and talk about "mashing the spuds" (which, of course, we all find highly hilarious). So, it's quid pro quo.

Chav comes from Council House And Violent. As Chelsea fans have the highest income, come form the most expensive areas and are highly educated it couldn't actually be more wrong. For you it fits nicely though.

  20. CPofL, I hear what you're saying. However, as we all know, the nicknames that we give to our rivals on this forum generally tend to have no rhyme or reason, and are used almost entirely for the purpose of winding them up.

You call us "spuds" because it sounds a little bit like "Spurs."

We call you "chavs" because it begins with a "c" as does "Chelsea."

It's just the way it goes.

I think we can both feel fortunate that we are not Mousers.
