We had a great goalie and Dean parret as well who were taken off us by spurs at the same time a few years back. Back further, we released Stuart Pearce, Rio ferdinand, and Paulo wanchope amongst others. In the next few years you'll see us picking up some great young talent and developing them. But it's a huge task. Barcelona started their project 12 years ago and it's only been the last 3 years we've seen these players come through. And don't forget we're still a relatively small club fighting for the same talent as the big boys. And the way the world is connected communications wise, I doubt there really are hidden gems anymore. Too many agents with smartphones spreading the word in a flash, with a YouTube video following seconds later. It's not if you can find them, just if you can sign them 1st.....
