The know how from Deano is something you just cannot teach. Every other player is sucked towards the goal, but he just has the instinct to hang back in acres of space.

Yeah strange one that when you think about it? If FC had slung it across the goal mouth first time you'd have had people shouting for deano to be there? The myth is it was planned!
I'll always remember a comment from a Bristol fan before the game! "there's gonna be a lot of people in orange crying tonight " how I wanted to see him after the game!
He obviously meant Blackpool fans would be crying when we cemented promotion..... They knew we would be far better than them...
Went with my two brothers and my dear old late dad. Dad had the time of his life and said it was one of the best days of his life. Filling up typing this. I miss him.

While I was in st catherines hospice . Never in my dreams did I ever think I would get to see city play at wembley that day
Never forgiven city for pulling a stroke like that bloody Phil Brown grrrrrr.
Still all was forgiven when we got promoted v cardiff and I danced on the pitch AND we went and got to wembley v Sheff Utd, Arsenal and Sheff Wed.
