My issue is that it took FFP, injuries a suspension and a number of sales to get to the point of 4231, a formation many of us on here were crying out for since September. I'm not sure it was Slades decision to move from 442, it was foisted on him. Lets just hope he sticks with it.
Any idea why Slade didn't play Immers in previous 2 games? He adds so much to the team. Lawrence also has done well; what happens when Noone is fit? Ameobi needn't expect to start too many games from now on. This is all a long cry from the awful Whittingham/Gunnarsson midfield pairing and the ineffective Jones/Mason partnership up top. If only we could play MKD, Rotherham, Birmingham, Leeds games again with yesterday's team.
