I wouldn't take much notice. Kitchandro hates everyone and everything. Good of you to ignore all of the positive Hull-related posts on there though.
Well said. Spare a thought for Hyde Utd. The first club to Suffer Official Relegation last night even though it has been on the cards since before xmas.
"Mostly lower-league" Well the 'lower leagues' are League One and League Two. Most of our history has been spent in what is now the Championship. More people should know that, including amongst our own 'supporters'.
Don't let facts spoil the fun. We're a tin pot lower league team with plastic support. And we're better than Leicester. That must sting that poor boys soul. It's jealousy, nowt more.
I don't think Hull City attract 'glory seeking' fans because we haven't had any glory. Those types are the new SKY fans usually from areas, yes like Hull, who's own clubs have underachieved, therefore they attach themselves to one of the Big Four Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea and either Arsenal or Chelsea in the hope some of the glamour of association rubs off on them. It doesn't , it just makes them look like a prick. Rugby League supporters are known to follow this particular newish form of false worship. They like to be known as followers of 'It's tough, it's rough, it's rugby league' and in some cases like the HDM forums try to score points over the far more popular world wide game of football by using ridiculous terms to describe it as 'wendyball or pansie-ball'. This only appears to be the case in the city of Hull surprisingly. Yet they like to be associated to the Premier League club who happen to be at the top of the table that particular season. Strange behaviour indeed. So just who are these 'plastics' who are attracted to watching Hull City ? Football supporters, as they must be or they wouldn't be there, who chose to leave the comfort of their armchair or the cosy lure of the pub to visit the stadium, pay through the nose, and actually watch the team LIVE ! The cheeky bastards ! Or are they a figment of someone's imagination who just cannot come to terms with the fact that an unfashionable club like Hull City who represent a much impoverished, proud working class city as Hull, can actually be in the Premier League and still attract people through the turnstiles much against the popular belief pedalled in the national media that we are all inbred single mothers with ten kids living in council flats up to our eyes in debt and living on chips and lard. Or are they just the insane thoughts of some lonely sad individuals who are eaten up with jealousy?
