Agreed. People were very uptight after the Stoke/Villa games. But whatever you want to say probably isn't a great deal. I mean, you were all certain we'd be relegated and we have stayed up putting four past a team with a clean sheet and it could have been more. How do you come back from that?
glad you lads are seeing the funny side! Good luck for next year lads. As for us? First we get a top half finish against Man City. Our 8.5 million striker will help us push for europe if we play like today all season, and our financial stability will help us push on. Good progress next year and who knows? England calls for Holt and Hughton?
I think you'll find we all thought you'd be fine... I recall having to argue with some of your lot just a week ago just that point
But we weren't...if you read between the lines we all thought you'd stay up! It was you lot who were the unbelievers! It was a massive WUM on our part, and you lot fell for it...
Definitely more budgies than us thought they were doomed. We all knew Wigan had to much to do, it's just those budgies were blinded by there own poor performances. It was funny watching them squirm for a few weeks though.!
Well, you all look like a bunch of twats don't you. Cross all six of your fingers for the cup draws next year ladies, you never know, we might play you again one day.
Yes I don't know why they did that.Even when we were 20/1 against there was a Private Fraser contingent.
And so it emerges from under his rock...<****er> lets hope so, your famous for going out to lower league opposition.!
Honestly, I don't know how much of our games you'd seen this season, but for about a 15 game period we thoroughly deserved to go down. Last few games we've looked better though, and I for one thought we'd get the results we needed. Still, good luck for next season, a Premier-League Derby would be amazing. Those 6 points might help us towards Europe too...
Nah, **** a premier league derby. Let the ****ers rot away to nothing. Don't go up, don't go down, just rot and slowly die.
I don't really understand why any of us wouldn't want a famous East Anglian derby in the premiership. Wouldn't you like it to be up there with Liverpool/Everton et al?
Pssst...Carrabuh's about and posting on your board, better run and hide again, I'll give you the "All Clear" when he's gone...
I refer the right honourable gentleman to the "Norwich City Relegation countdown" http://www.ipswichstar.co.uk/news/canaries_crushed_we_launch_countdown_to_norwich_city_relegation_1_926369
Exactly, so long as we're Liverpool (urgh I can't believe I just said that) and you're Everton in that scenario, I think it'd be great. Rivalries are only good when you're playing each other often. I miss derby games, and like having Ipswich as rivals, because in general you're decent, genuine football fans like we are. I'd much prefer that to having a club like Chelski, City or QPR as our rivals.
