No it was fair to sack Warnock , he had lost the plot. The mistake was hiring and then not firing quick enough, Mark 'clueless' Hughes.

Yep, Swansea seem very well run. The polar opposite of us.

the difference of the two teams is one has well drilled players and a manager who knows what he is doing against all oppositions.
and the other who has the players in his squad but is unable to motivate or direct alternative ways to play the opposition..

It is not rocket science the players are only doing what the manager has told them to do. It was hughes first and now harry that are to blame....
What is the daily training like? Does harry like laudrup take training sessions, Are these training sessions geared towards the next opposition or is it just the same routine every day.....There are many ways a manager runs the club and i see harry s management skills as poor and in a time warp when nearly every team trained the same way. football has moved on and a much improved managerial philosophy has with some clubs crept into the game.....you can get a degree in sports science at uni today that is now baring fruit with some clubs....we at Swansea began our transformation the day after we nearly went out of the football league and we never had two pennies to rub together and we had to send buckets around the vetch field to help to pay players wages, that's how low we went. We built the club back up very slowly and eventually we appointed Roberto Martinez an ex player with us and he changed the way we played, he got us playing more continental football and we have never looked back. He had the foresight to see that football needed to follow the continental sides more if we were to improve......now when ever we lose a manager we will only employ someone who will carry on where the previous manager left off and improve things more while keeping the same philosophy in the way the team plays.....football is moving rapidly forward and is getting faster and more skillful. All this long ball football is being ripped apart by swift short triangle on the floor passing and precise set pieces......we are still learning but as others can see it is working for us.....

Not wishing to have a go..........but would you be better off devoting more time to your own board? You are losing respected posters by the droves over there.

Im replying because of the title and i could not give two figs what anyone else thinks thats not my problem. I like talking football and you don't get much of that there and when you do it gets spoiled by the armchair trolls.....let them get on with it, Me i travel around visiting many clubs with a more adult forum where fans can contribute and have a discussion.....

They got rid of Helguson because their ambitions got too big too quickly instead of building. They fancied Cissé and other bigger names instead. HH wasnt glamourous enough.

I think you're right, although last season, Cisse proved to be a decent buy. Getting rid of HH was just baffling to me and I think we all, to a man/Beth said so at the time.

getting rid of HH was a massive mistake by that idiot MH. If we had kept HH and played him we wouldn't be bottom that's for sure.
