Well gent we will see. True, walker has had a shaky spell but he is coming back close to the form of last season now.
Obviously I'm bias like you are to Arsenal but I wouldn't swap walker for jenkinson. I think walker is stronger, faster and will be the better player. Just my opinion. I guess we will see over the next few years who becomes England's first choice right back who the better player is.

Like it matters where he's ranked in the England squad, that's a stupid argument to use. And I wasn't talking about foreign RB's, I was talking about the English ones. Jenkinson's defensive ability is miles above all of them, and I do realise that an attacking full back is part of the modern game now, but Jenkinson fills that role perfectly, all you have to do is look at our LB, Kieran Gibbs to see the stark difference in their ability to get up and down the pitch at the right times and know the boundaries. A lot Arsenal fans around here like to rave about Gibbs because he's always up and supporting the attack, but so many turn a blind eye to his defensive frailties, the amount of goals he costs us indirectly is disgusting. Compare him to Jenkinson, an intelligent player that doesn't always run off pretending he's a right winger, but does provide support to the attack, and then becomes a brick wall in defence.

To be honest, I haven't seen many Arsenal fans 'raving' about Gibbs. I think most have been pointing out that he needs to work on his defensive duties. That said Jenkinson does look like a very well rounded RB already (and I note the vitriol wenger received when he first signed him a £1m Championship player)

What Jenkinson does really well are the simple things. He defends his positon, makes simple passes, crosses the ball and is rarely caught out of positon. He's also got a great engine on him and is a tireless worker. I think he'll cement his place at RB in the next season or two <ok>
