Geraghty and Brown's comments are well documented - I went to Spain straight after the Barnsley game and returned early Sat morning for the Cardiff game and to hear these shameful comments by Cllr Brown on my return beggars belief.

The good residents of OPE (mostly eggchasers I would guess) unfortunately vote in that ****er Geraghty - he will be loving the confrontation - he fooking thrives on it and will be poisoning other Cllrs minds on a daily basis if I'm not very much mistaken..

My best Geraghty memory is along the lines of what someone on CI aluded to the other day. That comment was about his opposition to the proposed exhibition being sited on the site of the Fruit Market and him saying "but people have to cross 4 lanes of traffic to get there" rather than saying "we will build a bridge"........

I remember when the council planning officers put in a proposal for a footbridge over Myton Street where the traffic lights are at the minute. In a nutshell, Geraghty vetoed it 'Because there are already traffic lights there, It would be too cluttered". Erm - YOU TAKE THE ****ING TRAFFIC LIGHTS OUT YOU BRAINLESS TWAT. They're only there so people can cross the road and as a result cause huge traffic issues. With the building of a footbridge you immediately:

    a) make access much easier and quicker rather than wait 10 mins for the lights to change TWICE (once to reach the middle and then again to cross to the other side) and
    b) you ease the traffic problems cos the lights arent changing every 5 minutes. The bewildered planning officers never put the proposal in again....

Seriously - there is not another city in the UK that would cut off one of the nicest, most attractive areas with the most potential by having a major road through the middle of it and no bridge. That area should be the jewel in Hull's crown with eating and drinkign establishments galore by the water but with shortisghted attitudes like Geraghty's it'll remain a wasteland. "There are already traffic lights there, it'll be too cluttered". What a ****ing idiot....

My favourite Geraghty line was on the day the KC opened and he said something along the lines of "We (the council) have brought you this stadium and we promise to maintain it to the highest standards".

A downright lie is what that was.

Hardly anybody on OPE turns out to vote, I'm starting to suspect that he's getting in with nothing more than votes from family members.
