I was reading in Sunday's paper that like many cities, Cairo has been in Lockdown. However, they have suffered more than most as they are used to a bustling, noisy city and the people of Cairo were becoming increasingly stressed and anxious. The Mayor came up with an idea - he paid all the taxi drivers to drive around the city in the evening sounding their horns and making noise... study has shown that the people have become more relaxed and calm as a result. This has become so successful that it has been extended to all the cities in Egypt. The process is now known as "Toot and calm 'em"
