Any idea why blank posts with the word Anonymous keep appearing?

Something gone wrong somewhere I think.

I don't mind if you say that my beliefs are a piece of bullshit, at the end of the day everybody has their opinions. If you think of the Earth; somehow, spontaneously, it goes EXACTLY the correct distance from the Sun, with the exact right temperature, all the correct conditions for life - then life suddenly pops up, changes its genetic structure by itself and up come humans, able to alter pretty much everything. I'd say that, chances are, there is a God! I agree with evolution and the big bang theory, they were methods that some sort of Godlike figure used to create the universe and us. It's God who made the small changes to the DNA structure, and it's God who set off the Big Bang. And at the end? Well, I don't think anybody knows the answer to that question, but I have my beliefs.

That is a reasonable position JM. Charles Darwin struggled with reconciling the theory on the origin of the species and his faith. that might have been an issue 160 years ago, but it really isn't now.

I prefer to live on evidence. There is absolutely no evidence that someone intervened, with the billions and billions of stars in the Universe the odds of there being planets like our spontaneously popping up are relatively high, and should be relatively common.

If Judgement Day comes and the almighty asks me why I had no faith I shall answer that he did not give me enough ****ing evidence, as Galileo said "I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with senses, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use..."

Not enough evidence? How about Jesus being resurrected? Anyway, the whole point is that you have to have faith. And, is there evidence that there is no God? If so, prove it!

It's not up to science to prove that something doesn't exist.

Citing faith is always the biggest cop-out there is.

There is no evidence that Jesus was resurrected, the various Gospels contradict each other so often it's laughable. Certainly organised religion on this planet is full of ****, there is no right faith, what righteous God would send 80% of humans to hell because of the lottery of where they were born? To have blind faith is to forgo the reason and intellect that I quoted from Galileo.

The inability to disprove the existence of fairies is not evidence of their existence.

I just think that it's unlikely that a world like this happeneed simply by chance. I don't want to force my views on others though, I respect all points of view, including atheism.

What proof do you have that Jesus was resurrected?

Why should we have to prove that there is no God? Can you prove that there aren't fairies living at the bottom of your garden? If not, I fully expect you to live your life as if there are.

There is plenty of scientific evidence to prove that it did. There is NO evidence to suggest that it was the work of a spiritual being.

That webpage has the feeling that it's clutching at straws a bit. Look, I know that I won't change any of your minds, I'm just against blaming religion for the problems in the world.

What about the Gospels that the Catholic church didn't include in their body of religious work because they completely contradicted everything they taught? What about all the other evidence about Jesus being a mortal man?

And if God does exist why doesn't he just prove it?
