I think it unlikely they would sell seats some distance apart for an adult and chil if only single seats were available. There are quite a number of meanings for accompany. No doubtbthey would pick outbthe one that suited them. The fact this has to be discussed just shows how ****ed up things have become, not just at City. Most on here will have gone to games on their own when aged less than 14. Most 12 and 13 year olds only went anywhere with a parent under sufferance.
Agreed, I don't agree with the clubs stance at all, I'm just convinced they'll be the ones that have themselves covered by the contracts, as much as I applaud the guys stance I just can't see him winning this one. I know it's ridiculous, how many of us went to games on our own at that age? Just the way things are going I'm afraid.
I wasn't talking from a legal standpoint, I was talking from a moral standpoint. You and your antipodean chum are sounding suspiciously apologist.
Since when can we expect the Allams to do what's morally right? If he's relying on their morality for a favourable outcome then he might as well admit defeat now! I have sympathy with the guy and applaud his stance but I don't give him a chance when it comes to fighting them on this, they're far too petty to let him get away with it, especially as he's already embarrassed them once.
I wonder what the outcome would be if someone wanted to challenge the club on the whole forced to pay three months, or whatever it is, after cancelling bollocks. One month seems reasonable but they've plucked a number out of their arse simply to make people think twice about cancelling.
But people know what it is when they sign up Not a fight worth having IMHO If you compare it to a season ticket you actually have better cancellation options now. Once you’d bought your pass that was it for the season wasn’t it!
The cancellation terms are the least of the issues with the membership scheme, in fact, I’d go as far as suggesting they were perfectly reasonable.
So you watch them to satisfy your own needs, despite knowing that the best course of action to show the Allams they are hated is to have a near empty stadium? Continue to line their pockets. I know many who have sacrificed their pride and stopped going and feel much better for it. I felt like a hypocrite while I was still attending yet chanting allam out Its like hating your wife yet still dipping your wick in her because you wont let anyone stop you, no matter how you feel about her. ( Errrrm, hang on a mo . . . _
Not everyone thinks that an empty stadium is the best course of action to show the Allams they are hated. I certainly don't, it's a completely impractical expectation.
I don’t think they can sell the seat actually His membership isn’t cancelled (is it?) he’s simply banned from actually coming into the ground They’d have to leave it unsold in case (unlikely I realise) they changed their minds and let him back In any case I suspect the system will simply show the seat as belonging to a member up until the point that he has served the notice period
Judging by yesterday’s announced attendance, they seem to think a seat still belongs to a member several years after that membership has been cancelled. 16,200!! Yeah.......
Agreed. Other clubs and fans don't give a **** about us. Falling attendances just looks like glory supporters leaving. It just allows them to say we're going back to our level.
