I’m very guilty on the Taarbs front. I’ve not kept up to date with events, but I assume he is off to the African Cup. I’m hoping that this means it is less likely that anyone else would try to buy him in January. If Traore is going too we could end up very short of players again.
Selfishly hoping Traore's injury prevents him going, we buy a left back and get him in midfield/ left wing where he belongs - though he had Walcott in his pocket at the Emirates - stronger and faster. Assuming Taarbs will flounce straight back to W12 if not in the team for Morrocco's first match. But will probably just come back injured/ fat, or play a blinder and be off for lots of cash in the summer....
