Now I know I will probably be criticized for saying this but I was just thinking about Joey Barton coming to spurs.

Before you say he's not up to spurs standard I think he is much better than Scott Parker and would fit in. He also recently said he would be looking to try and get a team in to the champions league.

Anyone else like Barton?
 
He's a thug and should never wear our shirt, its bad enough when ever bellemy comes up for sale Harry has a punt NO NO NO
 
Is this a pisstake? Joey Barton, were he not kicking a ball for a living, would be kicking tin cans around the excercise yard at Parkhurst prison!
 
I know what you are saying.... he has a good engine and is a committed midfield enforcer who speaks about the game in a suprisingly enlightened way.

On the other hand he has a criminal record, a propensity towards physical violence towards anybody including team mates and a disregard for authority in any form. Got to be a no fella.

Although he did turn the game around in the Goons most humiliating capitulation in Premiership history.......Still no.

He has more baggage than Lady Gaga on Virgin Atlantic.
