Well the way some are approaching this you'd swear that's that they are thinking.

    it'll be fine.

maybe people will want to prove himself at a real club when his current one is relegated ;)

You have to realise in the past when a manager left we expressed our disappointment, or joy, depending on how they had performed.

Nowadays with social media everyone has to try and outdo everyone else to demonstrate how upset they are.

Some pratt of an LFC fan actually burst into tears in a phone in on Talksport yesterday, bloody embarrassing:emoticon-0121-angry:emoticon-0121-angry:emoticon-0121-angry

Yeah it's pathetic. I'm looking forward to the remainder of the season under Klopp now more than ever. As far as who's next I wouldn't expect any news until the season is over.

Every fan base has them nowadays, it's difficult for us fairly normal people to tolerate.

Yes I hope it's all done quietly and in the right way.
I hope like most that it's Alonso but he's got a league title to win so we need to respect that.

I'm not convinced about going for Alonso, it's only his first proper season as manager. I wouldn't moan if we got him but I'm not convinced he's the right guy either

Alonso would be A huge risk. Is it a flash in the pan? I haven’t seen any of them really but by most accounts he’s got them playing really good football and results have followed. Now would he be able to transfer that to lfc? At lfc he’ll come up against deep blocks a lot - is that happening in Germany? Is it like Newcastle last year where teams kept underestimating them leaving more space to attack?

Ideally you’d give alonso another year or two to get some consistency and see how he reacts in a bad run. However life doesn’t always work out perfectly, alonso could be next great manager and if don’t get him now may be a huge fight for his signature at Madrid or even city.

Whoever we get is going to be massive risk as klopp is arguably top 2 coaches in the world right now.

We may have a transition year and having someone who can relate to the fans and will get that extra support may be the way to go

There's nobody out there that stands out for me so I'd rather go for this highly rated young manager who will have universal backing from the fans and importantly the fans will have patience with him.

Klopp was a bit of a risk when he was appointed too. He came from the Bundesliga and had a very poor season after a successful time. I would go for Alonso. He has already shown he can manage and he knows the club. There is always an element of risk in appointing a new manager

Don't agree that Klopp was a risk when we signed him. It was 100% the appointment I wanted.

First klopp deserves every thanks and praise and our best wishes as a man we want to see hale and hearty for many many years.

Second klopp assembled a squad of workers and no messers. keeping this ethos is critical so the entire team assembled to build a new structure from board room and first tram coaching has to ensure we don't go buying **** head players. (see man utd)

third whoever is picked the fans will back them. every manager who fits the club gets massive backing. houllier irrespective of football style understood the city, fans and club. rafa did too. klopp suited like an arse on a bucket.

when people dare name Zidane you know they haven't a breeze about what Liverpool is about.
