Won't be for a while, Ancelotti signed a new deal last month, think it was to 2026 tbh, I have no idea who we should/can get. Klopp is one of the 3 best managers in the world, so everyone else is less than Klopp. Its such a gut punch because as much as we're in a better place now than before Klopp, it does feel like our success is dependent on him. It's not like Citeh, where you could stick a penguin in charge and they'd just spend and still be in the mix. Maybe I'm just being pessimistic, but worried if what happens next doesn't work out, like at many other clubs following a dominant manager.
Ancelotti is not my cup of tea, his successes in other clubs may not necessarily be transferred to Liverpool apart from that he's getting old. I would prefer Xabi Alonso to him.
This is where I'd hope FSG have taken a leaf out of Brighton's book, and had a succession plan or three in place (in case their first choice plan isn't possible). As said above, anyone is going to come in looking like a step down from klopp, but as long as it's someone capable of working with what we're building, rather than someone like Simeone or Nagalsman who would start from scratch with their own ethos, I will stay open minded about them.
Klopp is the best signing we've made since appointing Sir Shanks. It's going to leave a massive 'impossible to fill' hole at the club. We'll move on, of course we will, we have no other choice, but it'll be a different direction that's unlikely to see the same end results. I've loved his time, I just hope the next guy continues with entertaining football.

I'm absolutely gutted but that day Fowler left caused unrepairable damage, only time will tell if this will have the same impact. I suspect it will.

Most definitely. As Klopp has previously said, football isn't the most important thing in life but it is the most important of the less important things. My feelings about him resigning are in that context and in that context, it's very hard to take. Ask Z what I'm like when a player leaves and then times that by 100.
I've been thinking this - much as I love the success Klopp has brought, I appreciate the style of football even more.
He just comes across as a really good humble bloke. That’s all you really want as a manager isn’t it.
The success has been one thing, but it's been the identity and personality that he's brought which will be so difficult to replicate (and impossible to identically copy). Tuchel could replace him (again), or Nagelsmann and have similar success, perhaps also with entertaining football, but it wouldn't be the same.
