It's for putting a warming alcoholic beverage in for those frosty nights in February. I'll be filling mine with port and hoping Roller brings the Stilton.
Well I reckon you could get about a pint of port in it so he will have to bring a bloody big Stilton!

Turning into a cheese thread, Wubba will be here soon. Though from the title it could be a heroin thread. Very more-ish. Had some very fine Manchego yesterday, very good indeed with a little honey that has had a few drops of white truffle oil mixed into it (leave it to infuse for 5 minutes). Taste bomb with a good Rioja. Reckon this would work with Parmigiano or Grana Padano as well. Or any really hard, salty cheese.

Wine/port and cheese is the food of the Gods. Especially with good company, after a long, relaxed meal.
While it might not tickets to an England game why don't you start a competition with the pack as a prize
At least it will get it off your hands and we haven't had a competition in a while
And remember never allow a girlie touch the port bottle, as it immediately becomes rancid

Absolutely, so if they reduced membership by 25-30% and cut sending out the rubbish no-one wants to buy we'd be a lot happier...
Of course, but in reality they wouldn't do that would they. They could stop sending the stuff with the membership packs, but if anyone thinks they'd reduce the price accordingly, they need their bumps felt. It's the club's way of a thank you. It's a freebie whether one thinks it's tat or not. Anyway....
