    I won’t beg you all to vote for me, but if I lose this to Rory Jennings it’ll be the biggest voting disaster since the Nazis won 288 seats in the Reichstag in March 1933, and we all know what happened after that.

    Do you mean Germany went on to top the Berlin 1936 Olympics medal total with 38 golds, hardly a disaster, or am I missing something?

    Anyway, I've just voted for young Alfie. I get a kick out of anything to do with rigging a vote in a democratic society. It's only now that I'm beginning to understand why Donald Trump feels cheated.

    Junior is currently at Anfield for the awards ceremony (he wouldn’t take me, as there’s a bar), he’s not expecting an award this year, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed anyway.

    Anything Man City related that was nominated won every award. Typical sportswashing. Alfie should protest <laugh>

    In our category, Best Football League Podcast, a podcast not about a Football League team won. Which makes sense. Same happened last year when won the silver like Alfie.
