Would like to see 4231 which is what we were saying at the end of last year. Gunnar and Whitts in front of the back 4, Lambert up top and any 3 from half a dozen in between.

It's why I was speculating on a 4231. Gunnar sticking his foot in and whitts picking the passes for the 4 in front of him. I agree you wouldnt play them together in a 442 again. Proven not to work.

We've got to have trust in whom Warnock reckons can spark the team up front and solidify it at the back. It certainly needs it.

To find new players outside the window with some pedigree shows great initiative; hopefully will gain enough points to get us up the table, notwithstanding some very difficult fixtures, and then bring in new players, especially in central midfield and up top in January.
