Drew Busby, 74, Scottish footballer (Airdrieonians, Hearts, Toronto Blizzard).
Gary Pearson, 45, English football player (York City, Darlington) and manager (Crook Town).

RIP Mick Crane.
He was a frequent visitor to the betting shop in Branny centre I once worked in. I remember him as a pleasant, quiet guy who liked a Yankee.

I watched him play for Rovers. He was playing at Castleford, threw a dummy, and I'm sure half the crowd swerved. He waltzed under the posts. A very talented player.

I've known Zook for many many years, since he was in Rovers juniors. He and one of my Nieces were a couple for many years and he became part of the family.
My Mam and Dad felt the World of him and he them. He came to both of their funerals when they both passed.
I knew a while ago that he had a terminal illness and that he could pass anytime.
Rest in Peace Zook, a true gentleman and a terrific sportsman. It was an honour to have known you.

Sleep peacefully Zook.

Not seen it confirmed anywhere but, a friend of my brothers told him that local boxer Roger Tighe has passed away after a long battle with dementia. RIP another Hull sporting legend.
