It’s academic really, Labour weren’t in power, the Tories were. On the whole I think they handled it ok, I do question how contracts were handed to their mates, I also realise we needed things done quickly so the usual checks and balances couldn’t apply, I think it’s right that things are looked into and lessons should be learned . Also where individuals took the P!55 they should be prosecuted. Their record over 14 years is not great though and not all of it was down to COVID, despite what they’ll have you believe.

I think the Tories have handled the war in Ukraine as best as could be expected. No real complaints there - except perhaps continuing to do business with India - which is Putin’s biggest market for oil and gas - which we then buy second-hand from Modhi and his gang.
COVID however is a different story.
    - Partygate
    - Insider dealing (Rees-Mogg selling all his hospitality shares and redirecting funds into PPE manufacturing and pharmaceutical companies)
    - PPE fraud (Tory MP getting preferential selection for contract and the PPE was useless)
    - Money wasted on the Nightingale hospitals
    - Country left open to scams by fraudulent claims for furlough payments by non-existent companies

COVID was unprecedented and deserved an all-party non-political approach. The Tories decided to go it alone and I personally think they wasted and embezzled absolutely shedloads of public money. It was bungled.

as things start to unfold the result is not likely to fall to the winners for their manifesto pledges but more to how people vote party wise

ENGLAND and WALES and NI .............

    CONSERVATIVES ... LABOUR ... REFORM ... LIB DEMS ... GREEN ... .....

In the middle of the top 5 is REFORM .............. basically a mish mash of x tories with a spattering of other hopefuls!

It will depend heavily on how disenchanted voters from CONSERVATIVES / LABOUR decide to cast their votes! There is likely a big chance that THERE WILL BE A HUNG PARLIAMENT!
Will enough voters in other regions which have little or no impetus on LIB DEMS upset the apple cart even further,, by eroding just a small % of votes from main 2 [ or 3 if you consider Reform as like one of the top 3! ]
GREENS always get a few votes and actually get elected occassionally so detract from the bigger parties.

There is a growing onus on proportional representation in some form.

650 seats so majority has to be minimum of 2 or 326 to 324 but speaker [s ] does not vote and never gets that close anyway!

Scotland is the main bogey man in the pile if the chips were down would the SNP [ who from comments expressed on my last visit a couple weeks ago are not the flavour of the month! ] be tempted to gain power and join either side? as partners in crime!

Reform, realistically how many MP'S might they muster? and who will they damage the most!

I reckon we miss 1For with all this.

He's kept saying we're all being 'played', especially during Covid.
    Reckon he isn't far wrong.
It's Labour's turn in power and we silly bu**ers think we live in a democracy.

The clip is from 2015 and does not discuss mass migration. The clip is taken out of context and is about refugees. Real refugees from Syria.

I hadn’t listened to it so couldn’t comment.
It seems it was all fake news anyway judging by Cliftonville’s comments.

Yes. Starmer has the election sewn up and he does not need left wing critics Abbott, Corbyn, Moyle and Shazeen to win seats for him. Shazeen has been suspended from the party for a on line post eight years ago, it is not a coincidence the tweet only surfaces now.
