ps it/he [ KS] was trying to say my parents were poor run of the mill, whilst RS parents were clever and held highly respected jobs .........

    the last head to head......
If we get KS then we are well dooooooooooooomed .. he bases everything on "my parents working class" at least 6 times? RS did mention once but in context was about Q from the lady with similar status ...small business.
14 YEARS 14 YEARS 14 YEARS .... AT LEAST 11 times! [ RS only stated once that in 2010 Labour left the UK bankrupt and never brought in Covid or the war!!]
He was was like a person that was being slapped around the face with a wet Cod! DITHERED had no real answers when stuck resorted to 14 years or Liz truss [ usually out of context to the Q ]

THE BEST WE CAN HOPE FOR IS THAT Labour only get about 290 / 300 seats........

    BBC VERIFY..............

Keir Starmer said the Conservatives are planning “unfunded tax cuts”, adding that ex-prime minister Liz Truss had tried that experiment. He said “people are still paying the price” and they were “paying hundreds of pounds more because of the damage done to the economy”.
It is true that there was a spike in mortgage rates after the mini-budget - which included unfunded tax cuts, during Truss’s short-lived premiership.
But mortgage rates had been rising before the mini-budget, as the Bank of England put up interest rates to fight inflation, which began rising after the pandemic and the war in Ukraine. The spike faded away early in 2023.
The Bank of England governor said last January that the effect of the mini-budget had “pretty much gone” from interest rates.
But anyone who did take out a fixed-rate mortgage shortly after it may have signed up to a higher interest rate than they otherwise would have.

PRETTY MUCH all the verified had been sorted before
Media concensus seems to be [that just like PMQ's KS was battered with an expression akin to being slapped in the face with a wet Cod! unable to give clear answers and resorting to 3 out of context points to fill in the gaps, this caused Mischal to to "close him down" and move on to another Q..............!?

who to vote for .... well ............ the choice is a / b /c / or d.......... pinsticker time or common sense!

All will become clear next Friday, personally I can’t wait for it all to be over. 6 weeks is far too long for an election campaign. They all have their messages to get across and just keep repeating them.

Tory donor who helped fund 2017 election campaign defects to Reform
A donor who has given more than £500,000 to the Conservative Party since 2007 has defected to Reform UK.

Sir John Hall, the former Newcastle United owner, is at Nigel Farage's rally in County Durham that is under way now.

He was integral to funding the Conservative 2017 snap election campaign, called by then PM Theresa May.

Speaking at the rally, Mr Farage said he is "delighted" that Sir John has joined them and given a donation to the party.

The businessman did not join Mr Farage on stage, but waved from the back of the hall as the crowd stood up and cheered.

as the TV debates come to a close it seems the "radio" interviews are proving to be real tell tales on the ability of various candidates to answer the Q!!!

I dont think we will ever get a true answer from KS LET ALONE AN ANSWER that actually answers the Q! ....WITHOUT a bit of Trumpism! blowing his own trumpet and actually going around the bush's to get out and fit in "14 years" / "Liz Truss" [ who the fiscal and leading BOE officials and guru's state her mishap and shortsightedness haslong since been resolved] / or the Chancellor has said the money has been spent!!! / GBE is going to be saviour of us all!!!

Rishi gets lumbered with "the betting scandal" ... detractions fed by Labour and other parties to, as is always expected tarnish the debates to cover their own deficiencies ...........

NF has an up hill battle , media keeps picking on scraps and putting "rumours and words into mouth's" NF TAKES THEM ON THE CHIN AND BATS THEM AWAY facing them head on, and categorically stating they are not representing Reform although names will appear on ballot paper1.... no place in reform for them!

Lib dems.... you want a clown .. well ED is the best available, treats everything as a gimmick, [ .gov is not a gimmick ] yes his party will seats but are early always mopping up votes simply because Tories/ Labour voters want to put a x on the paper SO TAKE THE THIRD CHOICE ..... knowing they wont be in charge of the .gov, so a safe alternative

GREENS IN NEARLY ALL INTERVIEWS GET SLAUGHTERED ........EO

Pensioner or will be in next 5 years .. well Labour = hard times ahead .... be wary of Labour saving money BY INCREASING PENSION AGE by another year or 2 from middle to end of the next 5 year.gov term. Although dont say how they will truly fund the things they want to [say they might/ will do ] a couple £bn on later age and taxing the basic pension "not ruled out" [ bear in mind most state pensions have other contributions added SERPS etc ] by keeping the band to pay tax at a lower level, say 20p from £12,570 to £50,000 NEW PENSION recipients will be taxed on any rises before older style PENSION'S . Of course with various pension rules and and serps etc and obligatory pensions introduced over past 3 or 4 parliaments... if your pension receipt monthly is in excess of £966 per month you start getting taxed at 20%.

    eg ............ a pension rise to basic pension [ received monthly ] is in excess of £966 [ personal allowance / 13 months ] @ circa 2.4 / 2.6% = about£25 you get £20 and the .gov gets £5.

Pensioners should be rejoicing!!! Inflation and bank rates were already going up before Liz Truss so she made it worse helped by all the Labour backed strikes for more money. result was the in the last TORY .gov WE HAD THE 2 BIGGEST PENSION RISES FOR 2 DECADES! and it has now grown in value as they TORIES / RISHI has bombed out inflation to 2% and destined to go lower in the next couple of months. And the higher bank rate benefitted savings up from less than 2% 5 years ago to clever searching can get you 5 - 7% WHOOOOOOPEE . we had tough times in the past about 20+plus years when mortgage interest was over 9% hitting 15% oh at that time rents were around 60 -70% less than a mortgage .swings and roundabouts.............

Reallly!?, he was awful, once you start digging below the surface he falls apart. He accuses, correctly, the main parties of avoiding questions, only to do the same himself. He’s just as bad as the others.

it depends on the individuals interpretation of what is said / how was said / context of Q

Thursday eve didnt leave pub till midnight .had a really good session "in Tessa's" ... DOMAIN! OUR LITTLE GROUP swelled to 10 people us 4 + 6 locals/ regulars discussing the GE

There was 2 "pub bullies" [ loudest mouth's of dont really know f***all! ] who were firmly put into their place [ not our usual pub, so locals dont see us but 1 -3 times a year! ]
We let them spout off their interpretations without butting in! then ripped them apart about 5 or 6 times.. and constantly had the task of saying to them " look you had your say till you finished so please stop interupting and let us have our say"...... being admonished in front of about 12 -15 other locals didnt do their representations of "informed opinion" any good at all 1 left after about 45 mins the other followed about 10 mins later. [ moral/ = according to landlady they are never ever last to leave the pub... they have gone home over an hour early! ]

Who they vote for who knows 2 wont be voting Labour THOUGH for first time ever looks like Tessa can win her seat as most were assurred KS was a poor substitute for a caring knowing PM!

one old dear had been listening throughout on a nearby table ,said as she left about 2330 " I used to teach advanced mathmatics in higher education establishments... and in the past 14 years the government has done extremely well to get us to here, and it is on an upward circle where in 12 months we will be better off all round ....... unless some ****k [ first time she swore! ] screws it up. Asked who she is voting for? ..... I am 84 years old still active, a widow, live on my own teach occassionally privately when asked [ younger children pre comprehensive school friends/ neighbours ] but I have only ever voted once in a GE, when I became able to vote, about 60 years or more ago and cant remember who it was.

Mr Farage is not making points about the other parties avoiding questions in that clip, he is making a point about an actors words being used to attack Reform. During question time Mr Farage did not avoid answering any questions relating to this topic.
