Didn't a young Julio and a much respected Niall Quinn player together for a season and a bit? He was quality that first season he came and for ever loved since. Boro were very happy to pick him up at the time (and the fee was a a steal imo) - however he's hardly been first choice for Boro for the last 3 seasons, so why would we have him back?

Qinny have a soft spot?
 
No one was a bigger supporter of Julio Arca than me and I was gutted when he left but we have come a long way since them days and Julio was part of our past not out future.

I wish him well and hope he finds a club (why are Boro letting him go? Are they mental?). Would love to see him come back someday and have him receive a real Roker welcome.

Because they are broke and carnt renew his contract. My mate is a coach for Boro's academy and he texted me today saying they are closing the academy and 30 of his mates have lost there jobs as thats how much financial **** they are in. He has only kept onto his job as he is working within school part-time and not directly in the academy.
