Have to say it was quite a funny comment, however I think it was below the belt. At the end of the day Savage was in his prime a Premier League player, not a player for a top side, but a Premier League player nonetheless, so he's played at the level JT is struggling to play at this season.
Jose Mourinho his manager wasn't a great footballer, Infact he wasn't even a good footballer, so would he totally ignore his opinion. You don't have to have been a top player to have an understanding of the game. Infact most top managers and coaches weren't particularly great players.
In all truth I think Terry is just trolling Savage here, as there's probably still abit of needle from back when Savage was playing. He was after all a player who found it easy to get under the oppositions skin. Not all that different to Terry in that respect.
I like the way aswell that he brown noses Rio Ferdinand in the interview, clearly someone's still got a guilty conscious after the incident with Anton
