I remember Nicholl's brace on his debut against Coventry , I remember thinking "Wow, we got a player on our hands here" Boy was I wrong! Think he ended up at Barnet.

Jody Morris was a brilliant little player for a while and then it never really happened for him. Can see Josh going the same way. Shame.

If Ancelotti hadn't left I reckon Josh would be playing regularly now. Our problem has been constant chopping and changing with managers. If the likelihood is that a manager gets sacked after a poor spell, then they won't be risking their jobs by trying out young players.

Hopefully Jose is with us long term and we get a chance to see some of the real quality we have in our u21's break through into the first team. We definitely have players with the potential to play for Chelsea.
