Glen and Co - please take note.

It's not just about "match reports", "player ratings" and the interminal trawling of the latest transfer rumours to create an article.

I really enjoyed this brief article in the Irish Times - now that's what I call journalism.....................

History, background, context, insight.
A well written article that educates us in links to another sport, however convoluted.
I too enjoyed the article.
I'd read of BBMs dad briefly before. This put some meat on the bones. It also gives a view on how people from his homeland relate to their idols and to less well known products of their region.

Lovely little article, harks back to a time when the connections made were as a result of rooting for your local lads/lasses and fellow countrymen as opposed to following a team or players you have no connection with but have been bombarded by media channels into believing you should be following them..
Nearly as good as yours Brizzle!

The Walesonline and Echo simply report the basics and add a lot of padding.

The broadsheets are the place to go for in depth and thought provoking articles.
